In celebration of Global Week to #Act4SDGs, WeForGood held the Turn Up For SDGS event to bring together social innovators, SDG advocates and development enthusiasts across Africa in a party-like format to discuss the power of the Sustainable Development Goals to create solutions to the continent’s pressing challenges. WeForGood has a firm belief that African youths have good understanding of the challenges facing the continent and given the right opportunities and environment, they can also deliver the solutions. The event explores the avenue to put young people at the centre of the actions, allowing them to take full charge of the future. The first edition was held in collaboration with the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) Lagos in 2020.
